Description:
Well Spiced Moong Dal & Palak
Preparation:
1) Soak washed Moong Dal in 1 Cup of Water for 20 mins. in a bowl.
2) Finely cut Green Chilies into Rings.
Cooking:
1) On medium flame heat Oil in a non-stick pan.
2) Add Cumin Seeds, Ring Cut Green Chilies, Asafoetida, Turmeric Powder, Garlic Paste and mix well.
3) Add Soaked Moong Dal with Water, Salt and stir well.
4) Cover & Cook for approx 3 mins.
5) Add Thawed Chopped Palak, Red Chilli Powder, Coriander Cumin Powder, Salt, 0.50 Cup of Water and mix thoroughly.
6) Cover & Cook for approx 15 mins. until required consistency
Serve For: 4 Persons
Total cooking time: 40 mins.
Garnishing:
Serve hot with Kadhi & Roti
